Where did the name "Peaches Pitstop" come from? Well, many years ago, while I was teaching a SCUBA class at Blue Hole, Santa Rosa, NM, we were able to park our campers/cars/trucks right next to the hole. If I recall, on a Sunday morning, I woke up, made coffee, looked out the windows to find no one there yet.

So, because it was the beginning of the day, the "potty call" came. I casually went to the "head" knowing that I would have some time. About 3/4 through my "daily duty," I heard a knock on the camper door. I said just a minute and started to finish up. I flushed the head. I heard "Awe Jes," from outside not knowing what happened.

I opened the camper door to a couple of students, and to my surprise, my daily duty was on the ground right at their feet. Boy, was I embarrassed. I quickly apologized, and looked into how that happened. Un-be-known to me I had inadvertently forgot to close the value the last time I dumped the holding tank. Only a few person knew of this until now.

My wife coined the phrase "Peaches Pits!" One of the reasons for this web sites name. It's funny now.
